Magnolia Lighting is a family owned business that was started in 1981 by Paul Whitfield, Sr. as Magnolia Lighting and Electric Supply. In his early career as an electrician, it was always Paul's dream to own his own lighting showroom. Because he knew electric supplies, it only seemed natural to sell lighting along with supplies. At the time of his death in 2002, he had grown the business to the point that a separate entity needed to be created, thus came Magnolia Lighting, Inc. and Magnolia Electric Supply. In 2006 the lighting store expanded to a second location in historic Oxford, Mississippi. In January 2008, the Hernando showroom moved to its current location where we have a beautiful 8,000 square foot showroom that is considered the premiere showroom of the Mid-South.

Since our beginning, we have built a business around serving our customer's needs.  Customer service is a goal shared by everyone at Magnolia Lighting.  If you tell us your needs, we will work to address them.  We followup with manufacturers and customers to ensure timely delivery.  If a problem arises, we work quickly to resolve it.  Our customer service has enhanced Magnolia Lighting's reputation for guaranteed satisfaction.

Magnolia Lighting maintains an inventory in excess of $1 million.  It is critical that we keep the right inventory to satisfy customers' ongoing needs, therefore over 95% of our showroom inventory is normally in stock and ready for immediate delivery.  It would be impossible for our showroom to display even a fraction of the lighting options available to us. Over our twenty years in business we have built relationships with major lighting manufacturers. We assist our clients in browsing the many catalogs available to us.

We provide dependable delivery service within a 50-mile radius of Hernando.  Delivery outside the daily delivery area is available for a nominal fee.
